01  Sound familiar?

Your website should be bringing in work

If any of these sound like your site, they’re all fixable. They’re exactly what a rebuild on a clean WordPress setup solves.

01

“I’m scared to touch it in case it breaks.”

How we fix itOld themes and stacks of plugins make every edit risky. We build on a clean Elementor or block-editor setup, then show you how to change text, photos and pages yourself.

02

“It takes forever to load on my phone.”

How we fix itHeavy page builders, huge images and cheap hosting slow a site down. We tune every page and test it on a phone, aiming for a 90+ mobile PageSpeed score.

03

“People visit, but nobody calls.”

How we fix itIf your number, prices and next step are hard to find, visitors leave. We design every page around the one thing you want people to do next.

04

“My last developer still has the logins.”

How we fix itYou own the site, the hosting and every login from day one. We set hosting up in your name, so nobody can hold your website hostage.

02  What you get

Everything a small business site needs

A fixed list, agreed before we start. A typical 5–8 page WordPress site includes all of this.

Custom design in Figma before we build

You see your homepage design, on desktop and mobile, before a single page is built. Two rounds of changes are included.

An Elementor or block-editor build you can edit

Change text, photos, prices and pages yourself, without waiting on a developer.

Up to 8 pages, more on request

Home, services, about, reviews, contact and the pages your customers look for.

Forms, maps and booking

Contact forms, Google Maps, and booking with Calendly, Acuity or Jobber.

Rank Math SEO, schema and sitemap

Titles, descriptions, structured data and an XML sitemap, set up so Google can read every page.

A 90+ mobile PageSpeed target

Compressed images, caching and a lean plugin list, tested on a phone before launch.

Security hardening and daily backups

Hardened logins and settings plus daily backups, so one bad plugin can’t take you offline for long.

30-minute training and 30 days of support

A walkthrough of your new site, then 30 days of free support for anything you want fixed or changed.

Also on WordPress

Figma, PSD or XD to WordPress WooCommerce stores Migrations from Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy Membership and course sites Multilingual (WPML or Polylang)

03  How we work

Three things we do differently

WordPress projects usually go wrong in three places: the design is a guess, the site is slow, and the owner gets locked out. Here’s how we handle each one.

Design first

You approve the design before we build anything

In week 1 you get your homepage designed in Figma, on desktop and mobile. You comment right on the design, two rounds of changes are included, and we only start building once you say yes.

Homepage designed in Figma in week 1

Two rounds of changes included

Mobile layout designed, not squeezed

Built for speed

Fast on a phone, not just on a laptop

Many of your customers will find you on a phone, often on mobile data. We compress every image, cache pages, keep plugins to what you actually use, and test on mobile before launch, aiming for a 90+ PageSpeed score.

Images served as WebP, sized for each screen

Caching and a lean plugin list

Checked against Google’s Core Web Vitals

Yours to keep

Your site, your hosting, your logins

We set hosting up in your name, usually on SiteGround, Cloudways or Hostinger for about $10–$30 a month, and hand over every login at launch. If you ever leave us, you take everything with you.

I’ve worked with several developers/web designers in my past. The website this seller created far exceeded my expectations. It is very professional and it’s like he saw inside my mind and created my dream site. He was super easy to work with and was patient as I asked questions and asked my revisions. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Next Nova, a local agency or a freelancer?

An honest look at the three usual ways to get a WordPress site built. The right choice depends on your budget, your timeline and how hands-on you want to be.

Where we’re not the best fit

If you want to meet in person every week, or you need someone on site, a local agency is the better choice. And if you only need a simple one-page site and have the time, building it yourself on Wix or Squarespace can be enough.

09  Is it right for you?

Who WordPress is for, and who it isn’t

WordPress isn’t the right answer for everyone. Here’s how to tell before you spend a dollar.

A good fit if you…

Want to grow content, like service pages, blog posts and location pages, and rank on Google.

Want to edit pages yourself without depending on a developer.

Need integrations such as booking, forms, a CRM or a WooCommerce store.

Are moving off Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy and want more control.

Probably not a fit if you…

Want zero upkeep. WordPress needs updates; Squarespace handles them for you.

Mainly sell products. A Shopify store is usually simpler to run.

Need one page for an ad campaign. A landing page is faster and cheaper.

Want to make every change yourself without plugins. Wix may suit you better.

Ask on WhatsApp
How much does a WordPress website cost?

For a small business, $1,490 to $4,900 with us. Price depends on page count, custom features and whether you need e-commerce.

Is WordPress better than Wix or Squarespace?

WordPress is better if you want to grow content, rank on Google and add features over time. Wix and Squarespace are simpler if you want to make every edit yourself without plugins.

Who hosts my site?

You do, on a host we set up in your name (usually SiteGround, Cloudways or Hostinger, about $10–$30 a month). We never hold your site hostage.

Can you take over a WordPress site someone else built?

Yes. We start with a health and speed check, then fix, redesign or maintain it.

How long does a WordPress website take?

Most small business sites go live in 3 weeks: design in week 1, build in week 2, launch and training in week 3. Larger sites and online stores take longer, and you get a launch date on day one.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. We build with Elementor or the WordPress block editor, and a 30-minute training session shows you how to change text, photos and pages. You also get 30 days of free support.

Can you move my site from Wix or Squarespace to WordPress?

Yes. We move your pages and content, set up redirects from your old URLs to protect your Google rankings, and check Search Console after launch.

Do I need a maintenance plan after launch?

Someone needs to apply WordPress, theme and plugin updates, because many of them are security fixes. You can do it yourself, or choose a care plan from $79 a month that covers updates, backups and monitoring.
