A useful website budget starts with what the business needs the site to do. A five-page service website, an online store and a custom customer portal have different scopes, even when all three are described as a “business website.”
At Next Nova Technologies, our published small-business website range is US$1,490–$4,900, depending on pages and features. This is our pricing, not an industry-wide average. Use the current pricing page and an agreed proposal to confirm the scope and final price for your project.
Start with the type of website
Our starter website begins at $1,490 for a service business needing one to five pages. Our business website offer starts at $2,900 for a larger site, and online stores also start at $2,900. These starting prices are useful planning points; they do not make every project with the same page count an identical job.
A page listing a service and a page containing a custom quotation calculator can each count as one page. The work involved is different. Tell the team about booking, payments, customer accounts, integrations and content migration before comparing totals.
Five decisions that change the quote
- Content: who writes the text, supplies photographs and prepares product information?
- Page structure: how many distinct layouts and service or location pages are required?
- Functionality: does the site need forms, bookings, payments, a store or another system connection?
- Existing website: what content, URLs and useful search visibility need to survive the move?
- Review and handover: what revisions, training and launch checks are included?
Write these decisions down. A clear list gives the developer something concrete to price and gives you a way to tell whether two proposals cover the same work. A cheaper proposal can be the appropriate choice, but first check what it includes.
Budget for the year after launch
Separate the build price from recurring responsibilities. Ask who pays for the domain, hosting or platform subscription, paid extensions and any ongoing support. Confirm renewal costs and account ownership, not just the first payment.
Our website care plans start at $79 per month. Ongoing SEO starts at $390 per month. These are separate services on our pricing page; a new website does not automatically include an ongoing monthly campaign. Choose ongoing work for a defined requirement and ask what the monthly deliverables cover.
Compare proposals with one short checklist
- List the pages and the action each page should support.
- Confirm the platform, integrations and content responsibilities.
- Ask for the included review rounds and the process for extra work.
- Check mobile, form, analytics and launch responsibilities.
- Record recurring costs, account ownership and post-launch support.
For example, a local service business may begin with a homepage, service pages, an About page and a working enquiry form. Add a booking workflow only if it helps the way customers actually arrange the work. Defining that journey is more useful than buying features to fill a package.
Choose the platform after the requirements
If you are considering a self-hosted build, our WordPress website service explains the approach and current offer. For the earlier platform decision, read choosing WordPress for a business website. Bring your page list, existing URL and preferred launch timing to the first conversation so the quote can address your actual project.
